We Stand hunt black bear on lanes in pine thickets and around corn and peanut fields. Most hunters sit and wait for the opportunity for a bear to walk by. Patience is a must in this type of hunt. No bear baiting is permitted in North Carolina. We have a very good population of bear using our property and have seen as many as 14 different bear in one day. Some of the bigger bears will top 500 lbs, but most bear harvested are around 100 - 300 lb. As a general rule our bear do not hibernate. This along with corn and peanut fields allow the bears to reach very large sizes. All Bear Hunts are 5 day Hunts. Limit 1 bear per season $2500.00/5 days
