No loaded guns until you are in your stand. Unload them before coming down or leaving your stand. NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE! No reloading or shooting after leaving your designated stand. The only shooting allowed from the ground should be from a ground blind. 2. No leaving your stand to walk around. OTHER HUNTERS MAY BE IN YOUR AREA. It is dangerous for you and them and contaminates your hunting area with your scent. We have had many hunters who have complained about seeing other hunters from their stand. If you interfere with others who are hunting, you will be asked to leave without a refund. Do not look for any animal that you have shot. We have had to find several lost hunters that went looking for a hog or bobcat they shot. We can find almost any animal if you dont walk around on the tracks. We bring all kills back to the camp for gutting. 3. Dont throw trash around your stand. If you carry it in, bring it out. 4. No drinking while hunting or gun handling. IF YOU DRINK DONT TOUCH A GUN! No drunks will be tolerated! You may be asked to leave. Social drinking is permitted, but must be kept in moderation and only after the days hunt. 5. No illegal drugs allowed on the premises of Buffalo Creek Guide Service, LLC or used while hunting. You will be asked to leave without a refund if you are found doing drugs. If you have them, leave them in your vehicle. 6. No smoking in the lodge, cabins or vehicles. There is a smoking area outside. Please dont throw your butts on the ground. 7. No fall turkey season. Extensive fines and a wildlife officer will be notified. 8. Safety harnesses must be worn at all times while in any non-enclosed tree stand unit and can be provided at your request. 9. Deer only hunters are allowed 1 deer per day (3 total) 1 antler less, 2 antlered, but please no button bucks. 10. Deer/hog/bobcat hunters are allowed 1 hog (2 on a 5 day hunt), 1 bobcat & 3 deer (1 antlerless and 2 antlered, any size but please no button bucks). 12. There is a $300 fine for each animal taken over the limit. 13. There is no limit on coyotes. 14. For ear and eye protection we recommend ear plugs and protective eyeglasses. 15. Any left behind items may be returned by mail with a fee of $25 plus postage. 16. A helmet must be worn while riding on any ATV. 17. Dont shoot more than 1 deer per day. Theres a $300 fine for each deer over the limit. No more than one antler less deer may be harvested. Every shot must be treated as a hit until checked by your guide. All shots taken will be checked by a guide. Do not shoot more than your limit until your guide has verified that your shot was a hit or miss. 18. Button bucks with no bone showing count as antlerless deer. Do not shoot a doe and a button buck. This will be the same as 2 does and there is a fine of $300 per. All of these rules are designed to make your hunt a safe and enjoyable one. THESE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED! Hunters not following these rules will be reminded for the first offense, but will be asked to leave for the second offense with no refund. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
