Our Archery hunts take place in the managed area of the Sampson camp. Archery hunters hunt in ladder stands over feeders and food plots. Multiple deer are usually seen on each trip. Since the hunts take place in the management area restrictions are in place. This area contains a lot of mature does and mature bucks for the hunters wishing for an opportunity to harvest deer for the table or wall. Also there are lots of wild hogs in this area and this is a good time for the opportunity to harvest both. The deer are under very little pressure and are plentiful. Hunters are taken to their stand and are picked up when they request. If you have a portable stand, you are welcome to bring it. This will allow you to get higher up and increase your chances of seeing deer. Most of our ladders are 16 feet high, but the higher you get the better chance you have of not being smelled by the deer or hogs during your hunt. Archery hunts $400 per day Limit: 1 deer per day, 1 eight point or bigger, 1 buck any size and 2 anterless 1 hog included on archery hunts.
